Daryn Fouther
Creative Director
Daryn Fouther is the Creative Director of Kindred Communications LLC, where she leads all things creative—bringing together visual design, storytelling, brand strategy, and multimedia marketing to help mission-driven organizations connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. With five years of experience, Daryn’s work spans graphic design, web development, digital storytelling, and content creation across platforms.

She has successfully rebranded and built creative assets for many organizations. From brand identity and website design to social media campaigns, annual reports, and video content, Daryn’s work is known for its vibrancy, clarity, and authenticity.
​
Before joining Kindred full-time, Daryn worked at INSIGN Africa, a leading digital marketing agency based in Dakar, Senegal. There, she managed creative projects and produced graphic design for companies across West Africa, including in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, and Cameroon.
​
In addition to her design work, Daryn has served as an international correspondent for the Denver Urban Spectrum and has written blogs, profiles, and feature stories for clients such as Changing the Narrative Colorado and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. She received the Colorado Press Association’s Best News Story Award in 2021 for her reporting on community leaders.

Daryn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Global Studies from Colorado State University in December 2019 and studied marketing at the American Business School of Paris in 2017. Fluent in French and based in Denver, she brings a global lens, creative instinct, and deep commitment to equity-centered storytelling in every project she touches.

In her free time, Daryn enjoys sketching portraits, visiting the beach, and spending time with friends.

Angelle Fouther
Principal
Angelle Fouther is a communications strategist, writer, and community builder with over 30 years of experience advancing equity through intentional messaging and community-rooted engagement. Her career includes leadership roles at respected organizations such as The Denver Foundation, LiveWell Colorado, Denver Botanic Gardens, and Urban Land Conservancy, where she led communications efforts focused on building trust, shaping narratives, and centering community voice.
​
Angelle brings deep expertise in strategic communications planning, media relations, content development, placemaking, strategic marketing, partner cultivation, and graphic design. She believes that messaging can be a powerful tool for justice, which led her to found Kindred Communications—a firm dedicated to supporting organizations working at the intersections of equity, healing, and social change.
​
A Chicago native and longtime Denver resident, Angelle is the founding chair of the Montbello Organizing Committee (MOC), a nonprofit community development corporation. Under her leadership, MOC helped catalyze and launch the FreshLo Hub, a nationally recognized mixed-use affordable housing project featuring nonprofit space, a healthy food anchor, and cultural programming rooted in community vision.

Angelle has served as a mayoral appointee to the Denver African American Commission, the Blueprint Denver Task Force, and the Denver Planning Board. She currently serves on the board of Lighthouse Writers Workshop and is a published writer with a certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. She holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

When she’s not writing or strategizing, Angelle enjoys spending time with her family, tackling word puzzles, or getting lost in a good mystery novel. She brings the same curiosity and care to her personal life that she applies to every project she takes on.
