Daryn Fouther
      Creative Director

Daryn Fouther is the Creative Director of Kindred Communications LLC. In this position she writes, edits, handles brand strategy/execution, web design/developing, and general graphic design. Driven by her creativity and open-minded nature, she takes pride in providing clients with work that meets their needs and makes a lasting impression on their audience.

 

In 2020, Daryn completed a position with INSIGN Africa, a digital marketing agency in Dakar, Senegal, working in their graphic design and project management departments. She is an international correspondent for the Denver Urban Spectrum and has written dozens of online blogs for other companies such as Changing the Narrative Colorado. Specializing in writing stories about community-leaders across the country, Daryn received the Best News Story Award from the Colorado Press Association in 2021. Daryn, a visual artist, also has extensive customer service experience in hospitality and retail.

Daryn graduated from Colorado State University in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Global Studies. She also studied Marketing abroad at the American Business School of Paris in 2017.  Her love for travel, the arts, and helping others drives all of her professional endeavors. 

 

In her spare time, Daryn enjoys drawing portraits, laying on the beach, and spending time with her friends. Her favorite city that she has visited is Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain. Daryn speaks French, in addition to her native English, and currently lives in Dakar, Senegal.

Angelle Fouther
     Principal

Angelle Fouther has more than 25 years of experience in public relations, marketing, content development, editing, graphic design, and community outreach and engagement. She has utilized her creative and leadership skills to further the communications goals of many organizations, including The Denver Foundation, LiveWell Colorado, and Denver Botanic Gardens.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Angelle is driven to aid local communities marginalized by racial and economic disparities through communications and resident-led community-building. In addition to her professional work in the nonprofit sector, Angelle was the founding chairperson of Montbello Organizing Committee, a nonprofit organization in Far Northeast Denver committed to engaging and equipping residents to address issues such as food access, economic development, and transportation.

She has co-launched two publications: Give Magazine, which is published by The Denver Foundation and distributed via the Denver Post and Denver Business Journal and highlights philanthropic giving in Metro Denver and Montbello Urban Spectrum Edition (MUSE), a publication featuring news, perspectives, and events of the Far Northeast Denver community. She has also been a freelance contributor to Denver Urban Spectrum, Confluence Denver,  and special editions of Denver Business Journal, among other publications.

Angelle has received the Public Relations Professional of the Year Award from the Colorado Association of Black Journalists (CABJ) as well at two CABJ Scribes in Excellence Awards. She’s also received a Community Leadership Award from Steps to Success, a program of the University of Colorado’s Boulder's Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence. She has served in leadership roles on the board of directors for Girls, Inc. Metro Denver, with Jack and Jill of America Metro Denver, and as a mayoral appointee to the Denver African American Commission and Denver Blueprint Denver Task Force, where she strongly supported an equity analysis and implementation focus for the city’s 20-year plan.

Angelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts and Culture Certificate with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Denver.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including husband James, adult daughters Danielle and Daryn, and pooch Ziggy. She also enjoys travel, word games, movies, reading, and singing jazz and gospel music.
